Objective

For the past 8 years NeigerDesign has bean designing Annual Reposts for the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation. It was was honor to design 2020 Annual report for AAP with NeigerDesign. This entire project was a team effort with the Owner, Carol Neiger and Creative Director, Jonathan Amen.

Approach

Resilience + Perseverance = Bright Spots
By creating a reveal using a grid of circle die-cuts where bright spots of color peak through, this cover generates curiosity. The theme statement “Bright Spots. Bright Minds. Bright Tomorrow.” sets up this concept. The cover opens to reveal an asymmetrical dynamic pattern formed with shapes pieced together featuring the grant award winners. The bright spots are always around. We just need to look in the right places.
